RollRacing Series 2025

Roll Racing is back at Calder Park as the headline to a mega day of on track action running hot on the heels of the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge.

RAs RollRacing is becoming more and more popular in Melbourne and in response to competitor feedback, a new series will be introduced, running throughout the year and culminating in the RollRacing Nationals. Winners at each round will receive a cash prize & trophy, with appropriat points, with a Champion being crowned at the final round of the RollRacing Nationals.

Each round awards points to the top ten competitors throughout the year. Competitors must participate in at least three Rounds plus the RollRacing Nationals, to be eligible for the Champion title.

Competitors reaching the quarter-finals in each series round earn points as drivers, not vehicles. They can switch vehicles during the series but not for the RollRacing Nationals.

Calder Park RollRacing is hosting these events, with entry numbers are capped at 150 so dont snooze. Friday night events start at 6pm-10:30 & Sundays during winter start 12-5pm with RollRacing eliminations around 3:30pm for a winners prize of $250, and great trophy.

To compete in the series, we recommend getting an IHRA RollRacing Licence. Normally $95 per year, it’s available as a special offer from our friends at IHRA Australia for $65. This licence provides you with a permanent “Race number” and lets you join in other events at IHRA tracks across Australia. Additionally, it qualifies you to race the IHRA Australia Real Street Championship series. Click the link below to get your special introductory

RollRacing Procedure & Rules:

  • Want to race your mate? both line up behind each other in Lane 1, if you dont care who you run, you can line up in lanes 2&3.
  • The 2 competitor cars/motorcycles will position themselves in the “STAGE AREA” as instructed by officials
  • Upon the official’s signal, the 2 competitors will accelerate to 40kph staying side-by-side EVENLY toward the starting lights located approx 100m away (40KPH ZONE) – STAY SIDE BY SIDE !!!!
  • The left lane sets the pace, so the right lane tries to match their speed and stay together
  • When the green light flashes, both vehicles then accelerate/race toward the finish line located approx 330 mtr from the start.
  • IF YOU Dont line up side by side or Jump the start – You will forfeit the run! The race director has the best view of the startline and has the final call on this.
  • The First vehicle across the finish line is the winner, indicated by flashing lights on overhead board.
  • Vehicles shall begin to slow to a controlled speed of at the commencement of the braking zone in order to safely go around the return road.
  • Cars will turn on to the return road and slowly return to the pit lane/area and line up again unless in a competion. If in Eliminations the winners will be stoped behind the startline to be paired up again & follow the Officials instructions.
