Calder Park Drag Racing’s Sunday Fundays give all types of vehicles the opportunity to come out and play on the Calder drag strip and open to EVERYONE to race their car or bike down the Quarter.
Sunday Fundays are usually held in the cooler months to take advantage of the daylight temperature during the June to October months – check our calendar or facebook page. Sunday Fundays are an excellent opportunity for everyone to run the race track during the warmest time of the day.
You do require a DDL on the day if you are not faster than 10.5, or a late model car@ 10.0 / bike@ 9.5, so it is not ‘closed out’ to the street style vehicles. Check out all the race requirements : https://calderparkdragracing.com.au/race-requirements/
It is also a great opportunity for spectators to have a fun day & get up close to all forms of vehicles and bikes, which means there is something there for everyone to enjoy throughout the day in a casual atmosphere.

Vehicles manufactured post 1 January 2008 can run up to 10.00 seconds without the need for a tech inspection or ANDRA UDL/Super Street license. Check www.andra.com.au for specific information on safety and licence requirements.
Passengers (only at Select events) must be 18 years of age or over. To ride as a passenger, a spectator ticket must be purchased as normal at the gate and an Passenger/indemnity form must be completed at Credentials (then get a passenger Race armband), Passengers need to be wearing the same safety gear as the driver (ie; helmet, full clothing, etc).
